Beef tenderloin with creamy nut filling - served with pepper sauce! Yum Yum :-)
This roast beef is wonderfully good. Here there is a lot of delicious taste and completely tender meat.
Ingredients
- 1 kg beef tenderloin
- 50 gram pine nuts
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 dl cream
- 2 pcs shallots
- 4 pcs garlic clove
- fresh parsley
- salt and pepper
This is a typical weekend meal when you have a little extra time in the kitchen. This time I served the meat with a green pepper sauce, tomatoes and potatoes. Here I will teach you how to make this dish.
Step 1
Start by placing the meat on a board and find a sharp knife.
Step 2
Now divide the meat in the middle so you can fold the meat into a large piece.
Step 3
Spend some time so that there are no holes in the meat.
Step 4
Find a frying pan and add the butter. When the butter has melted, add the garlic, shallots and pine nuts.
Step 5
Bake for a few minutes before pouring on the cream. Boil until the cream is completely thick and season with salt and pepper. Run this mix in a small blender.
Step 6
Then pour the nut mixture over the meat and distribute evenly. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and you are ready to roll up the meat.
Step 7
Roll the meat tightly together without squeezing out all the delicious filling. Tie together with food twine.
Step 8
Sprinkle extra salt and pepper on the outside and brown in a hot pan with a little oil.
Step 9
When the meat is browned, place the meat in a pan and rub in a little extra of the filling (always flows out a little).
Step 10
Put the whole roast in the oven at 120 degrees with a roasting thermometer. Cook until the center of the meat has a temperature of 54 degrees. Let rest for 20 minutes and finish with a few minutes in the oven with grill function just before serving. Remove the twine and cut into neat slices. This time I served this delicious meat with a classic pepper sauce. Good luck!
