- white sauce
White sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp wheat flour
- 6 dl milk
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 0,5 pcs lemon (juice)
- nutmeg
- salt and pepper
Cauliflower, salmon, macaroni mix well in a delicious white sauce and finish with some cheese to get the golden fine cheese crust. The flavors harmonize well together and you do not get as many dinners that are easier to make than this. In a hectic everyday life, it is perfect and warms up again in a pan. Make a large portion for this tastes really good! The trick here is to add a little more flavor to the white sauce. Simple, good and healthy!
Step 1
In order for dinner to go as fast as possible, it is smart to do things in the right order. I start by putting on two pans of water on full heat. One is for macaroni, the other is for cauliflower. Put on top of 250 or hot air combined with grill element. Now just start with the sauce.
Step 2
Find a pan and add the butter. When the butter has melted, add the wheat flour and stir well. Dilute with milk and make sure that there are no lumps or that the sauce burns. Turn the heat of the sauce down to medium heat. Add a little salt, pepper and grated nutmeg. Taste if you need anything more. Before the sauce has boiled for 5 minutes, the sauce will taste a little floury, but it will be completely gone. Add 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard and turn off the heat.
Step 3
Now all you have to do is find a fireproof pan and add the cauliflower, macaroni and sauce. Stir well so that the sauce spreads well around the cauliflower and into the macaroni. Divide the salmon into suitably large pieces and place straight in the pan. The fish is finished in the oven in the last minutes. Sprinkle with some cheese and put in the oven. Bake for 5-10 minutes until the cheese begins to turn golden and fine. Then the dinner is ready for serving. Good luck.
