Now the heat has come and most people have already found the grill. I grill a lot of different things, but this is my favorite fruit on the grill!
- 1 pcs large ripe pineapple
- brown sugar
- cayenne pepper
- neutral oil
The trick of sprinkling brown sugar and chili powder gives caramelized pineapple. Perfect for pork and chicken. Here I show you how to make caramelized pineapple on the grill.
Start by cutting off the top and bottom. Then cut off the peel down along the sides of the Pineapple.
Cut into slices and place on a tray or plate.
Start by rubbing on a little neutral oil, sprinkle with a little brown sugar and cayenne pepper. Do this on both sides. Let them rest a bit before they are thrown on the grill.
They should be soft and good. This takes about 5-10 minutes depending on the heat on the grill. Simple and very good! Good luck.
