Aburi sashimi of salmon - I love this combination of flavors!
Good quality salmon, mayonnaise and hoisin sauce are grilled quickly with the gas burner!
Ingredients
- 1 pcs Frøya Backloin
- 1 pcs spring onion
- 0,5 pcs red fresh chili
- Hellmann's mayonnaise
- Hoisin sauce
- roasted sesame seeds
- coriander
The combination of hoisin sauce and mayonnaise that is grilled quickly is incredibly good! Garnish with sesame seeds, spring onions and chili and you have a super fresh appetizer or snack to serve. In this recipe I have used Frøya Backloin. Here the quality is so high that it is not necessary to freeze to eat raw. Backloin is perfect for making sashimi.
Step 1
This is a simple and quick dish. I have also made a video that explains how I do this. Take the salmon out of the package and cut thin slices across the "lines" of the marbling in the fish as shown in the video.
Step 2
Place neatly on a plate in the desired pattern. You can make this as a large dish or in portions as I have done today.
Step 3
Today I have made it easy to buy Hellmann's mayonnaise and a finished Hoisin sauce. Add some good streaks to the salmon with both sauces.
Step 4
Use a gas burner and grill quickly. If you do not have a gas burner, you can use the grill element in the grill. Heat the grill element in the grill on max and grill for max 1 minute. Finally garnish with some finely chopped spring onions, coriander, sesame seeds and thin slices of red chili. The dish is now ready to be served. Good luck. Here you can see a video of the whole process.
