With this method you make Aioli in less than 1 minute!


medium jam jar
  • 2 pcs egg yolks
  • 5 dl sunflower oil
  • 0,5 dl cold water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 0,5 pcs lemon (juice only)

It is completely unnecessary to buy either Aioli or Mayonnaise at the store. It is very easy to make yourself and tastes much better than the ones you buy. Here I show a very simple method to make Aioli yourself with a hand mixer.

Step 1

Find the ingredients. It is easier if the eggs and oil are at room temperature. Start by pouring eggs, salt, lemon juice, Dijon mustard and crushed garlic into a large glass. Put in the hand mixer and run for a few seconds so it mixes a little. Carefully pour over the oil and finish by pouring the water over. Hold the hand blender all the way to the bottom of the glass when you start it. When the aioli thickens at the bottom, you can move the hand mixer upwards. Mix for a few seconds and it's ready.

Step 2

Pour into a jam jar or similar and store in the refrigerator. Good luck.
