Butterfly Chicken Breast - A Smart Method for Frying Chicken Breast!
Juicy chicken breast made in a very short time!
Ingredients
- 2 pcs chicken breast
- 1 pcs food paper (or foil)
- a little oil
- salt and pepper
This method is simple and the result is always good. Because a chicken breast has a different thickness and thus cooking time, this method makes the job easier.
Step 1
Start by placing the chicken breasts on a cutting board. Find a sharp knife. Place one hand on top of the chicken and carefully cut in the middle of the chicken until you have about 0.5 cm left. Start from the thinnest part of the chicken breast and cut towards the thickest part. Now you can fold the chicken in half and it has become about twice as big.
Step 2
Now we are going to make the chicken even more even in thickness and make it even softer. Find a zipbag, plastic wrap or baking paper. Lay over the chicken and beat the chicken a little flatter and smooth with a rolling pin, pan, bottle or whatever else you have available. Remove the paper.
Step 3
I apply a little oil on each chicken breast. Season as desired and what you like. I always recommend using salt and pepper on chicken so you can vary with other spices according to what you want the chicken to taste. Today I used salt, pepper and chili spices. Grease the chicken well with oil and spices and place on a plate.
Step 4
You can fry this chicken in a regular pan, grill or grill pan, but the cooking time will be much shorter. Since the chicken is greased with oil, I do not grease the pan. Put the chicken in a hot pan and wait 1-2 minutes before stirring. When it starts to get crusty, it detaches easily from the pan. Turn around and fry on both sides. 2 min on each side tends to be perfect.
Step 5
