Grilled lamb, creamy vegetable au gratin and balsamic sauce - DELICIOUS!
Gets water in your mouth from thinking about this dinner!
Ingredients
Sliced lamb carré
- 1,2 kg lamb carré
- 3 tbsp Greek spices / salt and pepper
- neutral oil
Creamy vegetable au gratin
- 0,5 kg potatoes
- 1 pcs squash
- 5 pcs carrots
- 1 pcs celery root
- 3 pcs shallots
- 4 clove garlic
- 100 gram butter
- 3 dl whipping cream
- 5 dl milk
- 50 gram Ridder cheese
- 100 gram jarlsberg/norwegia
- salt and pepper
Balsamic sauce
- 2,5 dl balsamic vinegar
- 1 pcs bay leaf
- 5 pcs whole pepper
- 2 stalk rosemary
- 4 clove garlic
- 100 gram butter
- season with salt
Delicious slices of grilled lamb carré together with cream au gratin vegetables and a wonderful balsamic sauce. This is party food and a wonderful combination of flavors. Enjoy with a happy red wine.

Balsamic sauce is the perfect sauce for this dish. The slightly sour taste from balsamic vinegar goes perfectly with both the lamb and the creamy vegetables. Here is the link.

The only thing left now is to put together the dish. I start by putting a good portion of au gratin vegetables on the plate. Stack the slices of lamb carré neatly around so the dish gets some height. Finish with a few tablespoons of balsamic sauce. You can decorate with some fresh herbs as well. Good luck.
