Hasselback connects most people with potatoes, but use the same method on a chicken and you get a juicy and tasty chicken breast.
Ingredients
- 3 pcs Coop chicken fillet
- 1 pcs squash
- 6 pcs tomatoes
- 2 pakker fresh mozzarella
- 50 gram grated parmesan
- 1 can good canned tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
- fresh basil
Step 1
This is a simple recipe. Start by setting the oven at 200 degrees and find the chicken, squash, cheese and tomatoes. Cut the tomatoes and squash into neat slices. If the vegetables are large, it may be wise to divide them into 2 first so you get half pieces.
Step 2
Cut the chicken fillets as shown in the video. Do not cut through, but make "tracks" from the top of the chicken fillet at about 0.5-1 cm intervals. Fill with cheese, squash and tomato in each "track". Finish with a little olive oil, salt and pepper.
Step 3
Find a baking tin and pour a little olive oil in the bottom. Put on a box of good canned tomatoes and move the chicken into the pan. Add some fresh basil and grate over some parmesan. Bake for about 10-15 minutes. I check that the temperature of the fillet is above 63 degrees and then it is ready.
Step 4
Boil spaghetti or other pasta. When the chicken is done, just move it onto the plates and pour over some of the sauce. This is a simple but very good chicken dish. Good luck.
