Homemade minced steak- Healthy, simple and very good!
I am very fond of minced steak. Homemade minced steak taste so incredibly much better than the ones you buy. It is easy to make, they become far more juicy and the taste is simply far better. The advantage of making minced steak yourself is that this is actually quite healthy. Minced steak can be combined with so much. It is very good with browned onions, served with brown sauce and potatoes, in packed lunches or tomato sauce and vegetables. If you follow this recipe and method, you will get great minced steak every time. Feel free to make a large portion and freeze some extra for another dinner.
Ingredients
4 portions give 10 large minced steaks
- 800 gram minced steak
- 2 tbsp potato flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp ginger spice
- 1 tsp chilipowder
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 dl cold broth / water with meat broth
Here I show step by step how to make minced steak. What is important when making a stuffing is that all the ingredients are cold. This means that the mince does not crack and you get a good consistency on the minced steak.
Step 1
Start by finding a large bowl. Put the meat in the bowl and add all the dry ingredients and spices.
Step 2
Find a grater and grate up an onion and garlic. This gives the best consistency when making minced steak.
Step 3
Add the onion together with the rest and mix well. Take some time and the flavors will be evenly distributed in the minced steak.
Step 4
Dilute with the cold water / broth. Add a little, stir, add a little, stir and so on until the liquid has been evenly mixed with the mince. For it to be a good consistency, it must be a slightly sticky stuffing as shown in the picture. Put the mince a little in the fridge before you shape the minced steak. This makes the mince a little firmer and easier to work with.
Step 5
Divide the mince into 10 equal parts and roll into a small ball. Squeeze the ball flat against the bench / felt and shape quite around. Take a knife and make a pattern on top of the minced steak. This looks nice and you get a nicer crust afterwards.
Step 6
Heat a frying pan up to almost full heat (I used 8 in strength, in a scale from 1-9), and add a little neutral oil. Carefully place the minced steak in the frying pan.
Step 7
After 1-2 minutes, turn the minced steak and fry on the other side. Bake for 1-2 minutes to transfer to a baking dish. Just before serving, fry the minced steak for 5 minutes on 200 degrees hot air in the oven.
Homemade minced steak taste very good and are popular for everyone. Here they are served with oven-baked vegetables and tomato sauce. Also goes well with fried onions or brown sauce and potatoes. Minced steak are good for both dinner and popular in packed lunches. Good luck!
