Janne's egg salad - A popular dish on the cold table.
Homemade Egg Salad is very good!
Ingredients
- 10 pcs egg
- 1 pcs finely chopped onion
- 1 bunt chives
- 2 poser mayonnaise
- 1 bag rémoulade
- salt and pepper
This recipe comes from my wife Janne and her family. I was strictly told that if this dish was to be called Janne's egg salad, it would have to be made exactly like the original family recipe. I have therefore used it and the result is a very good egg salad that is easy and quick to make.
Step 1
Start by boiling the eggs for 8-9 minutes until they are hard-boiled. Allow to cool in cold water and remove the shell.
Step 2
Finely chopped chives and onions. It is important that there are small cubes.
Step 3
Mix together mayonnaise and remoulade in a bowl. Pour in the onion and chives and mix well.
Step 4
Cool the eggs, remove the shell and cut into coarse pieces. Mix the eggs in the mayonnaise mixture and stir well. Season with a little salt and pepper.
Step 5
Now Janne's egg salad is ready to serve. Store in a refrigerator covered with plastic until serving. Good luck!
