Lemon pasta with salmon - A simple and delicious pasta dish!


  • 400 gram Frøya midloin salmon
  • 200 gram good quality pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 pcs lemon (peel and juice)
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 pcs shallots
  • 2 dl whipping cream
  • 2 dl boiling water from pasta
  • 50 gram parmesan
  • 1 handful finely chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper

Step 1

Start by finding a pan and add water. Bring the water to a boil and add plenty of salt. Cook the pasta al dente (so there is some chewing resistance).

Find a saucepan and add butter, shallots and chili flakes. Cook for a few minutes until the onion is shiny and soft. Add grated lemon peel and lemon juice to the pan.

Add some of the boiling water from the pasta to the pan with the sauce. This contributes to taste, starch and consistency. Season with salt and pepper. When the sauce has a perfect taste, add the cooked pasta. Mix well and add the parmesan, parsley and pieces of salmon. Mix together.

Step 5

Let the salmon simmer for 3-4 minutes and the dish is ready to serve. Good luck.
