Pasta al Limone - Summery pasta with a taste of lemon and garlic

Silky soft pasta in a lovely sauce!

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pcs organic lemon
  • 2 tsp chiliflakes
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 dl whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 50 gram parmesan
  • salt and pepper

Sometimes simple is absolutely perfect! You make this delicious pasta dish in a few minutes and the flavors are fantastic. A creamy delicious sauce with a taste of lemon and garlic. This dish is made both with and without whipped cream, but I think the creamy one is definitely the best! Here I will show you how to make this dish.

Step 1

Start by finding a pan for cooking pasta and a frying pan with a high edge. In the frying pan, pour in a little oil while the pan is cold and add garlic, chili flakes and grated zest of the lemon (only the yellow). Heat the oil on medium heat until the garlic is shiny and soft.

Then pour in the whipped cream and stir. Let this cook for 2-3 minutes and turn down the heat to lowest heat. Wait a few minutes until the cream has cooled and add a little butter. It is important that the cream cools slightly so that the sauce does not "crack". Stir in the butter.

Add the lemon juice to the sauce and season with salt and pepper. Put the pasta in the sauce and adjust the thickness with the pasta water. Stir well so all the pasta is covered with sauce.
