Pork chops with grilled cabbage salad - Simple and very good!

  • 2 pcs Pork chops
  • 1 pcs spring cabbage
  • 1 pcs red onion
  • 1 pcs fennel
  • 2 pcs apples
  • 50 gram butter
  • 5 pcs sage leaves
  • olive oil, salt and pepper

Marinade

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 0,5 tsp pepper
  • 1 pinch maldon salt
  • 4 pcs sage leaves
Ingredients

Pork chops can be magically good, but are also quite sad if it is overcooked and dry. Here I will show you my tips to make this dish perfect. I also made a video of the process you can see at the bottom of this recipe. The grilled cabbage salad with red onion, fennel and apples is very good.

Cut all the vegetables into strips and place in a saucepan. Add a little olive oil, salt and pepper.

I grill this dish so then I have everything ready when I go out to grill.

Fry the meat on high heat and turn often. Remove the lid and put on indirect heat when you are happy with the crust. Allow to reach the desired core temperature and let them rest for 10 minutes.

To make the grilled cabbage salad, I start with a hot pan and add butter and sage leaves. When the butter starts to brown, without being burnt, I add to the cabbage mixture and mix well. Add boats of apple and cook for a few minutes. Season as desired with a little salt and pepper. Here you get a delicious salad with sauce in the same pan.
