Pork tenderloin with cabbage salad and apple sauce - Healthy and good everyday dinner!

This is how you get juicy pork every time!


  • 400 gram pork tenderloin
  • 0,5 pcs red cabbage
  • 0,5 pcs celery root
  • 2 tbsp butter for frying
  • 2 pcs green apples
  • 3 dl good quality apple juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp balsamic
  • 8 blader sage
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil for frying

Pork is lean and sold at a very nice price. In this dish there are good flavors that go well with the pork. The combination of celery root, apple, sage and cabbage is very good!

Step 1

Start by setting the oven to 120 degrees hot air. Cut the pork tenderloin free of tendons and season well with salt and pepper. Find a frying pan and set on high heat. Melt the butter in the pan and brown the meat on all sides. Add some sage to the butter. When the meat is browned, place it on a baking tray and bake in the oven until you reach a core temperature of 67 degrees.

Step 2

Pour apple juice into the pan and cook out the good flavors. Pour into a small saucepan and season with cornstarch until you get a thick sauce. Season with salt and pepper. The sage helps to give a very good taste to this sjy sauce.

Step 3

Cut red cabbage and celery root into thin strips. Fry this in olive oil and add a little balsamic vinegar. Add slices of apples when the cabbage begins to soften a little. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

When the meat is done cooking, let it rest for 10 minutes and cut it into slices. Find a plate and add plenty of celery root and cabbage mixture. Add slices of meat and pour over the good sauce. Feel free to decorate with some fresh herbs. Good luck.
