Raspberry and lemon sorbet - Simple, refreshing and perfect on a hot summer day!
In the summer it is perfect with a good sorbet!
Ingredients
- 8 dl SMAK raspberries and lemon lemonade
- 2 tbsp Glucose
The easiest method is to buy a juice / lemonade of very good quality and you are almost ready. Sorbet can be enjoyed as part of a dessert or alone. It is easy to make and the trick for the good consistency is Glucose. This is a type of sugar, but works wonders in a sorbet. Buy a juice or lemonade with the taste you like best and try it out. Having an ice machine makes the job much easier, but it also works with a steel bowl in the freezer. If you choose the option with a steel bowl in the freezer, it is important that you stir it every 20 minutes when the sorbet is frozen.
Step 1
Start by measuring the juice in a liter measure. Add glucose and stir well.
Step 2
Pour the liquid directly into the ice machine and turn on the machine. In 20 minutes the sorbet will be ready.
Step 3
Store in the freezer until serving. I think it is best to use a plastic box with a lid.
Step 4
Make nice balls of sorbet and serve. It is also nice with some fresh berries as a garnish or just enjoy just as it is.
