Salmon curry - delicious, healthy and easy!

Delicious pieces of salmon in a wonderfully tasty curry.


  • 600 gram Frøya Salmon
  • 1 pcs onion
  • 3 pcs green chili
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 4 pcs tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 0,5 pcs orange (juice only)
  • 2,5 dl kefir
  • 2,5 dl water
  • fresh coriander

A tasty and healthy curry with large pieces of quality salmon. Homemade Salmon Curry is easy to make, takes a short time and tastes very good!

Step 1

Start by finding a large pan or saucepan and set the heat. Chop up the vegetables so they are ready when you start making this dish.

Pour some neutral oil into the pan and add the onion and chili. Cook until the onion begins to soften and shine before adding finely chopped chili, grated ginger and spices. Bake for 2-4 minutes. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and add to the pan and cook for a few more minutes. Add water and kefir, mix well and cook for 10 minutes. Stir regularly.

Step 3

Cut the fish into large pieces and place in the pan. Pour some of the liquid over the fish and turn down the heat. Let simmer for 5 minutes and the dish is ready to serve. Finish by sprinkling some fresh coriander and serve.
