These little burgers are perfect for sharing. They can be served as a snack, appetizer or a full dinner. The size makes them perfect to eat and is only 2-3 pieces. They first appeared in the United States at a place called White Castle. This trend has become extremely popular and I can guarantee that if you put a dish with these on the table, they will disappear very quickly! Here I will show you all the tricks to make perfect Sliders.

I start by making the dressing. I use Gladkokken's Hamburger dressing which is incredibly good! It is easy to make and tastes so much better than buying varieties. Mix all the ingredients and taste to make it perfect. Put in the fridge until use.

I use angus beef mince. I recommend having minced meat with between 15-20% fat for the very best burgers. I measure 75 grams of meat per burger and use a pan to give them the perfect shape. It is important that the burger is about the same size in diameter as the hamburger breads. Press your thumb down the center of the burger to create a small pit. This means that they do not shrink as much during frying and stay flatter.

Then I cut up all the accessories that are going on the burgers. Here it is important to remember that this is a mini burger so cut up tomatoes into thin slices, the onion into small slices and the cheese should fit the size of the burger. It's very good to have everything ready before you start frying burgers.

Season the meat well with salt and pepper on both sides and fry so you get a good crust on both sides. They are best when they are medium fried and are pink in the middle. At the end of the baking time, I add cheese so this melts a little.

It is very IMPORTANT to fry the hamburgers to create a perfect crust against the dressing and the burger. This means that the breads do not become soft and the consistency is even better. Cut all the burger breads into 2. You get the very best crust by brushing mayonnaise on the bread before baking in a non stick pan.

Step 6

For burgers, it is perfect with french fries. I fry up some fries and make a bowl of mayonnaise for dip.

Step 7

Now we are going to put together our Sliders. Find a dish and place the bottom of the burger first. Add a lettuce leaf and some dressing. Then add the burger, tomato and onion.
