Spicy BBQ Burger - Spicy, juicy and delicious flavors!
A delicious BBQ dinner with a plant-based burger
Ingredients
- 4 pcs Vegme BBQ burger
- 3 pcs burger bread
- 4 skiver red onion
- 4 skiver cheddar cheese
- 2 skiver tomato
- 8 skiver jalapeños
- 1 handful salad
- 2 dl BBQ sauce
In this recipe I have used Vegme as a plant-based burger. The recipe works with other burgers, of course, but a super recipe if you want to eat more plant-based foods. Here I will show you how. For me, a proper BBQ burger should be good with cheddar and BBQ sauce. Here I have made a "double burger" for the hungry!
Step 1
Start by frying the burger in a pan or on the grill. I grease the burger with a little extra oil and add a little extra barbecue seasoning. Find burger bread, onions, jalapeño and BBQ sauce and bring to the grill.
Step 2
Grill the burger on a hot grill. When I turn the burger, I brush on some BBQ sauce before adding good cheddar cheese. Then add the jalapeño. Fry the onion and it is always important to fry the burgers so they get a nice crust. This means that the breads taste better and that you do not get the "watery" burgers as they do not attract liquid in the same way.
Step 3
Feel free to put the lid on the grill for a few minutes so that the cheese melts properly. Bring everything on a tray and then all that remains is to put the burger together.
Step 4
Add burger with BBQ sauce first and top with lettuce and tomato. Add the burger and then add the onion, more sauce and another burger if you want to make a double burger. Finish with the top of the burger bread and serve with some crispy french fries.
