Surf n Turf - Crayfish and beef with Asian flavors!
Here is the recipe for a delicious Surf n turf. This is a tasty combination of steak and crayfish and here no good ingredients or flavors are spared. This dish is an exciting and summery dish!
Ingredients
- 200 gram tender beef
- 12 pcs crayfish
- 2 dl soy sauce
- 3 tbsp fishsauce
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 pcs chili
- 2 pcs lime
- 1 cloves grated garlic
- 1 pcs mango
- 1 pcs cucumber
- 2 tsp salmon roe
- glass noodles
- bean sprouts
- fresh coriander
Step 1
This is really a very simple dish to make. It is incredibly important to taste carefully so you find a good balance in the sauce. Start by finding a bowl and pour in soy sauce, fish sauce, ginger, garlic, chili and lime juice.
Step 2
Fry the steaks as you want. I myself prefer medium and you do this most easily by using high temperature first on all edges of the steak before you finish frying it on low heat or in the oven until it has a core temperature of 55 degrees. Let the meat rest for at least 15 minutes before cutting it into fine slices. You can cook or grill the crayfish if it is raw. If it has been cooked from the store, heat it gently. It is important that crayfish do not get too much heat, then the taste will not be as good.
Step 3
Cut up strips of mango and cucumber. Mix together in a bowl. Boil some glasses of noodles. Follow the recipe on the package. Remember to have some salt in the water. I also fried some glass noodles to get a crispy item on top, but it's not necessary.
Step 4
When you are going to put together the dish, find some nice bowls or plates and put on some of the noodles. Then take the salad of cucumber and mango. Put on some bean sprouts and place nicely on the beef slices and crayfish. Garnish with a little fried glass of noodles, fresh coriander and possibly salmon roe. Finish by pouring nicely on a good portion of the delicious sauce and you are ready to serve.
