An everyday Asian dish with a wonderful combination of lean pork, spring onions and ginger. The dish is made in about 10 minutes if you have cut everything ready. The method with cornstarch in the broth is perfect for a low-calorie sauce and there will be little work. I usually serve rice for this dish. Here I will show you how to make this dish.
Step 1
Start by cutting the pork into strips or thin slices. Put the meat in a bowl and sprinkle with baking powder and a little soy sauce. Mix well with your hands.
Step 2
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and whisk until there are no lumps. Cut up the rest of the ingredients and now you are ready to make the dish. I save the top part (the greenest) of the spring onion in a separate bowl to top the dish with when it is done.
Step 3
Find a frying pan and set on high heat. Pour in a little neutral oil when the pan is piping hot. Add the meat and mix together. Pour over finely chopped garlic, chili and ginger.
Step 4
Bake for a few minutes and pour over the sauce. When the sauce starts to boil, it will thicken and "stick" around the food. Let the dish cook for about 5 minutes.
Step 5
Finish by sprinkling the tops of the chives and sesame seeds. Now you can enjoy a delicious Asian dinner made in a very short time. I like best to serve this dish with rice. Good luck.
