Ingredients

How to make a meatless burger exciting and tasty? There have been more and more meat-free alternatives in grocery stores. I got the challenge from COOP to make an exciting recipe with this product and I accepted.

I have to admit that I am impressed with how close it is in consistency and appearance to a regular small burger. Of course, it does not taste of meat, but has a good umami taste from mushrooms and spices. This is a good alternative on the grill if you want to eat meat-free one day or get guests who want it.

Step 1

I have made together a delicious beetroot salad for this burger. It is easy to make and can be made ready a few days before you have guests. Mix together mayonnaise, pickled beetroots, pickles and spices.

Step 2

Now you get a delicious pink beetroot salad with good acidity and taste. Cover with plastic until serving.

Step 3

Grill the burger in the same way as a regular burger, but you do not need to grill it for more than 3-4 minutes so it is hot throughout and gets a nice crust.

Step 4

It's always smart to grill the burgers a little too. This creates a good crust which means that dressing ++ does not run down into the bread and of course the bread gets hot.

Step 5

Start by placing the bottom of the burger bread on a plate. Add crispy salad and top with plenty of beetroot salad. Finish by placing the burger on top and place the top of the burger bread on top. Now you have a colorful and good alternative to the regular burger. Good luck.
