Quick and easy Tomato Sauce - for days with little time!
Tomato sauce suits an incredible amount and is a sauce that is well-liked by both young and old. The sauce is best known for pasta, but can be used for so much more. I think tomato sauce goes very well with meat pudding, along with potatoes, pizza sauce, etc.
Ingredients
- 1 can good canned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 3 pcs shallots
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 pcs red chili without seeds
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar
- freshly ground pepper

What is absolutely certain is that it is totally unnecessary to buy ready-made tomato sauce or in a bag. How to make a simple, quick and good tomato sauce.
Step 1
Start by finding a pan and set on medium heat. Pour the olive oil into the pan and let it heat up while you cut up the onion, garlic and chili. Put this in the pan when it is cut.
Step 2
Leave for a few minutes until the onion has become shiny and soft. Then add tomato paste, balsamic / red wine vinegar and sugar, and stir well.
Step 3
Let this mixture cook for a minimum of 1 minute.

This makes the slightly bitter taste of the tomato puree disappear. Add the canned tomatoes and cook for a minimum of 5 minutes. Run smoothly with a hand mixer and season with salt, pepper or acid (balsamic / lemon etc).
