Bacon BBQ Smashburger - I love these burgers.

Plancha on the grill is fun!

Ingredients

Smashburger
  • 200 gram minced meat (2 x 100 grams)
  • 2 skiver American cheddar
  • 1 pcs hamburger bread
  • 2 skiver tomato
  • 1 pcs onion
  • 4 skiver bacon
  • 1 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 3 skiver pickle
  • 1 blad salad
  • salt and pepper
Ingredients

This is proper American diner style burger. The method with the smash burger is incredibly simple and the result is a juicy burger in a very short time. This is a double cheezeburger with bacon in the middle, caramelized onions, vegetables and BBQ sauce. If you love burgers you must try this one!

Step 1

This method of making a burger gives a very good result. The name Smashburger comes from the fact that you start with a "ball" of minced meat that you press completely flat and grill quickly on both sides. You get the best result if you have a grill plate.

Step 2

Start by frying bacon and onions until the bacon has become crispy and the onion is golden and fine. I use a little salt, pepper and barbecue rub on the onion for extra good taste.

Step 3

When the onion and bacon are done, slide it on top of the baking tray and fry the burgers until they get a nice crust. Now it's ready to make smashburgers! Add the meat and mash flat on the grill. Bake on one side and turn them around. Add cheese and wait until the cheese has melted and the meat is done cooking. I prefer a good cheddar cheese on Smashburgers.
