At home we have used this recipe for a long time and it is always a success. This fits well with spare ribs, but also fits almost all barbecue food where you want a powerful accessory. Chilibeans are easy to make and keep well in the fridge in a tight box. Can also be highly recommended for breakfast with some eggs and some good bread.
Step 1
Start by finding a pan and add a little neutral oil. I always start by frying the bacon until it starts to get crispy. When the bacon is frying, you can cut up the onions and garlic.
Step 2
Pick the bacon out of the pan and place on paper towels. Put the onion in the bacon fat and cut the bacon into small pieces. Now put the bacon back in the pan together with the onion.
Bake for a few more minutes. Measure out all the other ingredients in a bowl while the onion and bacon are enjoying themselves.
Step 3
Pour the white beans into the tomato sauce in the pan and add all the other ingredients.
Stir well and turn down the heat. Allow to simmer for 30 minutes. Good luck.
