Crushed potatoes - this method gives crispy, soft and incredibly good potatoes !!

It is important to have good accessories for the food and I am very fond of making different varieties of potatoes. This type I call crushed potatoes and is something I have made quite a lot lately. The potatoes are delicious to soften inside, but the peel gets a nice and crispy consistency!

Ingredients

Portions
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
Ingredients

Step 1

Finely chop some garlic and place in the pan. Now take out a tablespoon and gently crush one potato at a time. To do this, place the potatoes on a board / cutting board, hold the potato with one hand and gently crush with a spoon.

Step 2

The potatoes crack and you get lots of fun edges and cracks in the potatoes. Once you have crushed the potatoes, place them in the fireproof pan. Top with a few thin slices of butter and sprinkle well with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Bake at 225 degrees in the oven until golden brown. This takes about 30 minutes. They can be kept warm until serving if you set the oven down to e.g 60 degrees. The result is very good potatoes that are both crispy and soft. The taste of garlic, butter, salt and pepper makes these incredibly good! Good luck.
