Dirty Dogs - This BBQ trend takes sausages to a new level!

Good sausages topped with delicious fillings.

Ingredients

Dirty Dogs combinations

Bratwürst with coleslaw and grilled peppers

  • 1 pack Bratwürst - "Grill Perfect"
  • 1 can coleslaw - "Grill Perfect"
  • 1 pcs red pepper
  • 1 pcs yellow pepper
  • 1 pcs green pepper
  • 1 pcs jalapeno
  • oil for frying
  • mustard

Cheese and bacon with cheddar sauce and crispy bacon

  • 1 pack cheese and bacon - "Grill perfect"
  • 3 tbsp cheddar sauce (see recipe below)
  • 1 pack bacon

Cheddar sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour
  • 2,5 dl milk
  • 100 gram American cheddar
  • salt

Cheese and chili with salsa, nacho and sour cream dressing

  • 1 pack cheese and chili - "Grill Perfect"
  • 3 tbsp taco sauce
  • 1 pcs Garlic dressing - "Grill Perfect"
  • 4 pcs jalapeno (on glass)
  • nachochips

I warmly welcome this BBQ trend! There is an incredible amount of sausages grilled in Norway and I continue to do so. I am very fond of sausages myself and with these crispy toppings you take the sausage dinner to a new level. Serve alone or as part of a large barbecue dinner. I guarantee that this will be popular for both family and guests.

Step 1

This trend is really about being creative and topping the sausages with plenty of really good accessories. There are many exciting flavor combinations here. I bought several of the products Grill Perfect series from Coop and made a couple in addition.



All the sausages today are from the Grill Perfect series and the "3 for 2" offer to Coop. - Bratwürst - cheese and bacon - cheese and chili sausages.

Bratwürst with coleslaw and grilled peppers


Here I used Grill Perfect's series' coleslaw and made the paprika mix myself. Top the whole with mustard and you have a very good sausage! Cut peppers into strips together with red onion and a jalapeño. Fry in oil until the peppers have become soft.

Step 3

Cheese and bacon sausage with cheddar sauce and crispy bacon

This is perhaps the best sausage I have ever tasted. Here is an extra lot of all the good. Top the sausage with liquid cheddar sauce and crispy bacon. Cheeses and chili sausage with salza, tortilla and garlic sour cream.


This was a very good flavor combination and spicy sausage and familiar flavors from Taco. Add plenty of salsa after the sausage is grilled and top with crushed tortilla chips. Top with garlic dressing and finish with some jalapeno if you like strong food.

Next time you are grilling sausages, I recommend being creative with the accessories and serving some really good "Dirty Dogs".
