Frozen Cremant cocktail - Summery, cooling and fresh!

"Champagne sorbet" which can be enjoyed with a straw!

Ingredients

large cocktail glasses

Slush ice cubes with bubbles.

  • 4 dl sparkling wine
  • 1 dl water
  • 2 dl sugar
  • 1 tbsp light syrup
  • 2 pcs lemon (juice only)
  • 2 dl sparkling wine (when blending)
  • 2 strimler lemon peel
Ingredients

The taste of good bubbles suits all year round, but this versions are perfect to serve on a hot summer day. I have taken the starting point in a classic champagne sorbet and found a method so that this drink can be served as a perfectly bubbling slush and enjoyed with a straw. I recommend using a fruity and dry sparkling wine to make this recipe and not a real champagne.

Step 1

Measure out the ingredients and add everything except sparkling wine to a saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil while stirring so the sugar melts and you get a sugar brine.

Step 2

As soon as the liquid has boiled, just turn off the heat and add the sparkling wine. Pour the liquid into a cold bowl and allow to cool in the refrigerator.

Step 3

Pour the mixture into a large freezer bag (I use double to be sure). You can also use ice cube bag or ice cube forms. Put in the freezer until frozen.

Step 4

Pour the frozen liquid into a blender. Add more sparkling wine and run together to slush. You can adjust the thickness of the slush with more sparkling wine.

Step 5

Pour into glasses, garnish with a few strips of lemon and serve! Good luck.
