Ingredients

I have been eating taco pizza for almost 20 years. It has varied a bit over the years, but now I feel that it is perfect. When we had a pizza restaurant a long time ago, I think we were among the first in Norway to launch tacopizza. It was very popular and this is a further development of the tacopizza with flavors I have become so fond of in recent years. Now there are many varieties of tacopizza out there, but this one topped with salad, herbs, pickled red onions and homemade sour cream dressing is not much to beat. Easiest to enjoy with a knife and fork.

Step 1

Start by making the pizza dough. Put all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix. Add water and oil and drive at low speed for 10 minutes. Adjust with a little flour if it is moist. You should get a flexible dough that releases the mixing bowl when it is kneaded.

Step 2

Fry taco minced meat. I season the minced meat with cumin, onion powder, paprika, chili, salt and pepper. You can also use a finished bag, but making it yourself tastes much better.

Step 3

When the dough has risen for 30 minutes, I roll it out into a rectangle. Grease the frying pan and carefully move it over. I think it's good with a little edge so I fold the end of the dough on all edges.

Step 4

Pour on a glass of salsa and spread evenly.

Step 5

Sprinkle on the cheese mixture. I think a combination of cheddar and well-aged Norvegia gives a very good taste.

Step 6

Sprinkle over the minced meat and corn and leave to rise for another 15 minutes. Put the oven on top and underheat 220 degrees. Insert the pizza and bake for 15 minutes.

TIP: I often cook the pizza half-baked. Then bake the pizza for 6-7 minutes. Then the yeast is "dead" and you can wait a few hours to finish frying and serve. You can also half-fry the pizza and put in the fridge until the next day. This is delicious when you get home from work and are going to serve dinner quickly to a hungry family.

Step 7

When the pizza is done baking, I let it rest for 5 minutes before I cut it into large and good pieces.

Step 8

Now comes what makes this pizza so incredibly good. The warming good pizza against fresh and good flavors such as topping. Add a little arugula and sprinkle over some crushed nacho chips. Be careful not to add too much topping.

Step 9

Then put on the garlic dressing and pickled red onion. If you do not have this, you can use regular red onion. Here is a link to how to make pickled red onions Everything can be pickled . Finely chop some jalapeno and plain red chili and sprinkle over.
