Glaze is almost like a marinade, but is not applied before grilling.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 pcs grated ginger
- 0,5 pcs lemon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
When I fry neck of pork or other parts of pork I start with very high heat (direct heat). Then I let the meat finish on low heat (indirect heat). After the meat has got the high heat I like to add some flavor before it is done finished on lower heat. This is an incredibly good glaze for pork. Brush well on both sides of the meat and you get a fantastic taste!
Step 1
There is not much to explain here. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and stir well.
Step 2
Taste so you get it right according to how you want it.
Step 3
This glaze has delicious freshness from ginger, sweetness from honey and acid from the lemon.
Step 4
Perfect for pork, which basically have a slightly dull taste.
Step 5
Use a brush and apply well for several rounds before it is finished. Pour on a little extra just before serving. Good luck.
