The sauce almost makes itself in the oven!
- 400 gram pasta
- 400 gram Apetina
- 1 dl olive oil
- 1 dl boiling water from pasta
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 handful fresh basil
- 4 tbsp pesto
- 100 gram green olives
- 2 pcs squash
- 1 pcs green chili
These dishes have become very popular and I understand why. It is incredibly easy to make and the result is very good. Here I have made a version of the classic Baked apetina pasta which I think was maybe even better.
Find a fireproof pan and add the squash cut into pieces and a finely chopped green chili. Pour over the olive oil and mix together. Make room in the center of the pan for the Apetina White Cheese. Add the cheese and pour a little extra olive oil over the cheese. Put in a preheated oven at 200 degrees hot air and cook for 30 minutes.
Cook pasta according to the instructions on the package. Take off some of the boiling water, this helps to make a very good sauce afterwards.
When the pan has stood for 30 minutes, take it out and add, garlic, pesto, olives, boiling water and finely chopped basil. Mix everything well. The boiling water together with the pesto and cheese makes a lovely sauce. Pour in the cooked pasta and mix well once more. Now this delicious vegetarian pasta is ready to be enjoyed. Feel free to decorate with a little extra herbs if you have any.
