Ingredients

Portions
  • 1 bag Turkish peber
  • 2 dl ketchup
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1,5 dl soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 0,5 dl apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cummin
  • 0,5 tsp cayenne powder
  • 4 tbsp butter
Ingredients

Grill glaze is incredibly good and can be brushed on most grilled meat for a wonderful taste! Here I have made a glaze with one of the world's most popular candies: Turkish peber. The delicious taste of Turkish Peber and other good ingredients make the sauce magical. Perfect for beef, pork and chicken.

Step 1

Start by running Turkish Pepper in a blender or crush in a kitchen towel. Measure out all the other ingredients and find a pan.

Step 2

Add all the ingredients to the pan except the butter. Let this simmer for 20 minutes. After this time, you have achieved a perfect consistency on your glaze.

Step 3

Turn off the heat and add the cold butter. Stir this carefully and the sauce is ready. It's always smart to taste a bit and possibly make some adjustments as there are big differences in spices, sauce and ketchup. Allow the grill glaze to cool slightly and pour into jam jars. Check the video here:

In the outdoor kitchen now, I made some lovely barbecue skewers of beef which I almost finished grilling before brushing with barbecue glaze in the last few minutes. The result was magically good!
