Grilled chicken with squash and asparagus - Delicious and simple food for walks

I love to cook out on a trip!

Ingredients

Portions
  • 4 pcs leg of chicken
  • 2 tbsp grillrubb
  • 6 skiver squash
  • 10 pcs asparagus
  • 2 handful mixed salad
  • 4 tbsp feta cheese in olive oil
Ingredients

I'm not a big fan of disposable grills and have a perfect little trip grill with me whether I'm going to the beach, the park or on walks. Here I will show a delicious little lunch with chicken, asparagus, squash and salad.

Step 1

When cooking on a trip, it is the preparations that are important. I grease the chicken with a little oil and season with barbecue rub. I cut squash into slices and square the top with a knife. Take over some olive oil, salt and pepper. I prepare asparagus by cutting off the bottom and adding a little oil, salt and pepper. I put salad in an airtight plastic bag or box with a little water in the bottom. This makes the salad stay fresh much longer. Wrap everything and store in the fridge until you go on a trip.

Step 2

Barbecue equipment on tour: I bring charcoal and lighter briquettes in a separate bag and a good barbecue tongs. Ps. remember lighter or matches. This is really all you need when you go on a trip in addition to the tour grill.

Step 3

Fire up the grill with lighter briquettes and place over the charcoal. Be sure to place only charcoal on one side so you get an indirect and direct grill zone. When the charcoal starts to turn gray, it is ready for grilling. Lay over the grate and now you are ready. I have made a video on how to make this delicious dish here.

Step 4

When the food is ready, I place it on a plate and sprinkle over some feta cheese with oil. It is very good and you get dressing at the same time as some good pieces of cheese. Make lots of delicious food out in nature! Good luck.
