Homemade sausage bread - So incredibly much better than the ones you buy!
Homemade sausage bread makes sausage in bread such a much better dish. When you also serve homemade sausages, pickled sausage mix and delicious homemade BBQ sauce or a strong mustard, this becomes a small gourmet meal :-)
Ingredients
- 1 kg wheat flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 pk dry yeast
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 5 dl lukewarm water
- 2 pcs egg
OMG!! that something that sounds so simple can taste so amazing. The danger of making this is that I think it will be difficult in the future to eat a regular sausage bread without thinking back at this moment. This is simply Sausage Nirvana :-)
Step 1
This is actually quite simple. Start by mixing all the dry elements together. Stir well so that it is well distributed and mixed.
Step 2
Melt 2 tablespoons butter and mix with 5 dl lukewarm water. about 45 degrees. Add the eggs and whisk to a smooth mass. Pour this together with the dry and run in the food processor with a kneading hook for 10 minutes until it becomes a completely even mass. Leave to rise for 1 hour, covered with plastic wrap and a kitchen towel.
Step 3
When the dough has risen, take it over on a floured kitchen workbench. Roll into a sausage and divide into pieces of 100 grams per person. Then you get 16 large sausage breads out of this recipe.
Step 4
Roll the small pieces into small dough sausages and place on a baking tray with baking paper. Now they have to raise again to get them really airy.
Step 5
In my new stoves, Siemens has something called a lifting function. Then the dough rises to a perfect temperature of 40 degrees and steam is added at the same time.
Step 6
If you do not have such a function, cover the tray with plastic wrap and raise until they reach about double size.
Step 7
Brush the breads with a little egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 200 degrees hot air for 12 minutes. Cool the sausage breads on a rack. Serve hot with a delicious sausage and exciting accessories.
Step 8
These also work very well to freeze. Try this and your relationship with sausage bread will never be the same. Good luck.!!!
