Lynchburg Lemonade - let yourself be seduced by this delicious and sour classic.
I tasted this drink a few years ago and it changed my opinion about whiskey drinks.
Ingredients
- 4 cl Jack Daniels
- 2 cl Triple Sec
- 0,5 pcs lemon (juice only)
- 1 dl sprite
Let yourself be seduced by this delicious and sour classic. Lynchburg Lemonade was made for first time in 1980, and takes its name from the city where one of the USA's most famous distilleries belongs, Lynchburg, Tennessee. Only a type of alcohol is allowed here and it is Jack Daniels that is distilled in this area. Of course it tastes good with other varieties as well :-)
I have not been such a big fan of it before before I tasted this! Lynchburg Lemonade is a perfect summer drink and you do not have to love Whiskey to love this one.
Step 1
Start by finding some nice drink glasses and fill up with 2/3 of ice cubes. Pour in Whiskey and triple sec and squeeze the juice of 1/2 lemon. Stir well and add a few half slices of lemon. Top the drink with alcohol and stir again before serving. Good luck.
