I can not think of a dish that is more popular among the little ones than Pancakes. I understand them well! I think it's very good though. Here is a very good recipe and with a for some perhaps unfamiliar accessories.

Ingredients

Portions
  • 6 pcs egg
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 7 dl milk
  • 6 dl wheat flour
  • 50 gram butter
  • butter for frying
Ingredients

I remember Mom was frying pancake on pancake while we sat around the table like hungry wolves. There were a lot of pancakes and they are best when they are piping hot. There are many different ways to eat a pancake. Some eat with their hands others roll it around and eat with a knife and fork. There is probably nothing right or wrong. Have also seen many different things used on the pancakes. My favorite is definitely blueberry jam and crispy bacon. This delicious combination of salt and sweet tastes very good on pancakes. If you have not tried this before I would give it a try. Here is a good standard recipe for pancakes. You can choose what you want on the pancake :-)

Pannekaker 1

Step 1

Start by finding a large bowl. No bigger than it fits in your fridge. Pour in eggs, sugar and whisk together with a whisk.

Step 2

Add half of the milk and stir a little more. Add the flour and stir well until there are no lumps in the batter. Add the rest of the milk and 50 grams of melted butter. Whisk well before putting the whole bowl in the fridge. You get the best result if you let it swell / rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes. When you take out the pancake batter, you stir well before you start frying the pancakes.

Step 3

Find a Teflon or smooth frying pan and heat to a little over medium heat. I fry mine at 7 (scale 1-9). When the pan is hot, add a little butter and when this has melted and starts to turn brown, add the batter. The amount of batter you put in the pan determines how thin the pancakes will be. When the surface of the pancake dries and there are holes, it is time to turn the pancake over. Fry a little more on the other side and place on a plate.

Step 4

Then just continue until all the batter is gone. A smart trick is to use two plates to keep them warm. Put one under and one over as a lid.
