Parmesan chips - Crispy and thin flakes of melted parmesan.
Looks beautiful and tastes amazing!
Ingredients
- 50 gram parmesan cheese
This is a very good tip to be able to impress a little extra. Parmesan flakes look very nice and therefore they are well suited to decorate the food with. They really fit all places where it would have been good with a little parmesan on top. For a beautiful pasta dish, risotto or over cured meats. It is incredibly easy to make, but tastes very good. You can also put out a bowl of parmesan flakes. They will probably be gone soon. Here I will show you how to make them.
Step 1
Start by setting the oven to 180 degrees hot air. Take out a baking tray. I put some oil on the tray before I put on a baking paper. This causes the paper to stick to the tray. Grated parmesan is so light in weight that this can be a smart tip.
Step 2
Use a zest or the finest grade on the grater. Grate well with parmesan all over the baking tray.
Step 3
Place the entire tray in a preheated oven at 180 degrees hot air. Bake for 7-8 minutes until the cheese has turned golden in color. There is quite a big difference from oven to oven so I recommend following into the oven at the end of the time so the cheese is not burnt.
Step 4
When you take the baking tray out of the oven, just take off the baking paper with the melted cheese and let it cool down. Once the cheese has cooled, you can break it into nice flakes. Serve as a snack or use as a nice tasty "decoration" on the food. Good luck.
