This is very good food for a walk or in the sun. A simple and good dish that you can take with you in your backpack and prepare outside or prepare inside and serve to some happy guests. A recipe that is suitable for both young and old. I remember that it was very cool when I was little and we made stick bread on a walk in the woods. Both grilling sausages over the fire or grilling stick bread was the highlight of a trip for me. Here I have combined both in a fun and good way.
Ingredients
Stick bread
Recipe for 6 sausage screws
- 300 gram wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp oregano
- 75 gram butter
- 2 dl milk
This is what you need
- stick bread dough
- grilling sausage
- grilling skewer
- neutral oil
- sesame seeds
- stove or bonfire
Step 1
It does not get much easier than this. Mix together the dry ingredients and add milk and melted butter. Stir well and mix with your hands. The dough should not be too sticky so adjust with a little flour. Mix well and place in a freezer bag. Store in the refrigerator until you go on a trip or make this. Tear off a piece and roll into a sausage.
Step 2
Cut the sausage up as shown in the video and roll the stick bread around. I baked in the oven at 230 degrees for 10-15 min or grill directly on the fire. Good luck.
