  • 200 gram good quality pasta
  • 6 tbsp homemade pesto
  • 1 tbsp boiling water (from the pasta)
  • a few drops of good olive oil
  • fresh basil for garnish

Pasta is very good and here is a classic recipe. Here it is only pasta and pesto, but this is a light and summery pasta recipe from Italy. When a dish has few ingredients, the quality of them becomes even more important. Choose a good pasta and make homemade pesto!

Make pasta yourself or buy one of good quality. Here is a link to a recipe for homemade pasta. Homemade pasta - The best pasta you make yourself!

Step 3

Boil the pasta in well-salted water and cook it until the pasta is "al dente" which means that there is still some chewing resistance in the pasta. Pour off almost all the boiling water, but leave about 1 tbsp. Pour over homemade pasta and mix well.

Step 4

Transfer to a plate and garnish with a little more basil and a few drops of good olive oil. Serve and enjoy! Good luck.
