The dressing gives the delicious taste!
- 600 gram beef tenderloin
- 1,5 pcs cucumber
- 15 pcs small cherry tomatoes
- 1 pcs red chili
- 1 pcs red onion
- 1 handful coriander
- 1 handful mint
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp fishsauce
- 2 pcs lime (juice only)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
This is a classic simple Thai beef salad. Combination of vegetables, herbs and thin slices of beef in a good dressing. Here I will show you how to make this.
Start by mixing the ingredients for the dressing. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Adjust the sauce if necessary. Fish sauce from different brands has different salt content and taste.
Season the beef with salt and pepper and fry in a pan until medium fried. About 55 degrees core temperature. Let the beef rest for 10 minutes after frying.
Cut cucumber, tomato into slightly coarse pieces and place in a bowl. Cut the red onion into thin strips and finely chop the chili. Add to the bowl and mix together.
Now everything is ready to mix the salad. When the beef has rested, cut it into as thin slices as you can. Put the beef in the bowl with the salad. Roughly cut coriander and mint and add to the bowl along with the dressing. Mix well so that everything in the salad is covered by the dressing.
Now you can enjoy a refreshing and delicious Thai beef salad. Good luck. I have also made a video that shows how to make this. You can see it here.
