Tomato soup with sausages and pasta - Kids' favorite!
This is a simple tomato soup that is perfect for days with little time.
Ingredients
Tomato soup
- 3 pcs shallots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pcs red chili
- 3 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tsp sugar
- 8 dl chicken broth
- 0,5 dl whipping cream
- 1 tsp balsamic
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 bokser good canned tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
Accessories
- 4 pcs smoked meat sausages
- optional pasta
- fresh basil
I always encourage you to drop the bagged food and make it yourself. It tastes better and is far healthier. This is a quick everyday dinner that is very child-friendly.
Step 1
Start by finding 2 pans and 1 frying pan. Cut up the shallots, garlic, chili and grate the carrot.
Step 2
Add olive oil to the pan you are going to make the soup in and add the vegetables. Bake for a few minutes until they start to become shiny and soft. Add tomato paste and sugar and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Step 3
Pour over the chicken broth and the canned tomatoes. Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Boil optional pasta in the other pan.
Step 5
In the frying pan, I fry the sausages in a little butter or oil until they have a slightly golden crust.
Step 6
Add cream, balsamic vinegar and soy. Run the soup completely smooth with a hand mixer. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 7
I like to serve this dish separately. Then everyone can choose how much pasta, sausages and soup they want. As long as the soup is hot, everything will heat up again in the soup. I often take a little extra chili sauce or tabasco for a slightly more spicy result. This soup is very child-friendly and tastes so much better than the bag variants available in the store. By making the food yourself, you also know what it contains. Good luck.
