A fresh yoghurt dressing for many uses.
Ingredients
- 5 dl Greek Yogurt
- 1 pcs cucumber
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pcs lemon
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 0,5 tsp maldon salt
- a little freshly ground pepper
I am very fond of Tzatziki and make this dressing / sauce all year round. A healthy dressing with a wonderful taste of cucumber and garlic. Suitable for fish, barbecue and salads.
Step 1
Find a bowl and pour in yogurt and mashed garlic. Peel a squash, grate it and add to the yoghurt. Also use the juice from the lemon in this dressing.
Step 2
Grate a cucumber with a grater and squeeze out the water. Mix the cucumber in the yogurt mixture and add the olive oil.
Step 3
Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Leave in the fridge for a few hours before serving. Then it tastes even better.
TIP: Use good quality yoghurt! Feel free to buy Greek or Turkish yogurt. Remember to squeeze as much water as possible from the cucumber for the best possible consistency.
