Vegetables are healthy and good! A good vegetable broth is full of nutrition and good taste. I vary my recipe for vegetable broth from time to time depending on what vegetables I have available, but this is a good basic recipe.

  • 3 pcs onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 pcs carrot
  • 3 pcs celery sticks
  • 1 pcs parsley root
  • 1 tbsp whole pepper
  • 1 tbsp whole coriander

Step 1

Find a large pan and pour in a little neutral oil. Start by cutting up the onion and place it in the pan. You do not have to be careful when cutting the vegetables, but feel free to cut into small pieces.

Step 2

Cut up the rest of the vegetables and place in the pan when the onion has turned golden and soft.

Step 3

Add spices and possibly herbs. Pour on cold water and bring to a boil. Let the vegetables cook for one hour.

Step 4

Strain the vegetables and cool down.
