Wonton Soup - This soup warms body and soul!

I love a good soup!



The soup

  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed or finely chopped)
  • 1 klump grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp fishsauce
  • 2 pcs spring onion
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 pcs red chili
  • a little salt and pepper

  • 20 pcs homemade wonton

Wonton soup is a classic Asian soup with good tasty broth and delicious wontons that float around in the soup. I have made my very own recipe for homemade wontons and you can find it here Homemade Wonton - Some of the best of Asian cuisine.

Step 1

So once you've made wonton, it's very quick to make the rest of this soup. It is therefore always very nice when you have a bag of wonton in the freezer. Since this soup mainly consists of power, the end result depends on the quality of the broth. Therefore, I recommend making homemade chicken broth or buying a good bouillon. Here is the recipe for chicken broth: Chicken broth Pour the chicken broth into a saucepan and add the garlic, grated ginger, fish sauce and soy sauce. Bring to the boil and cook for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Taste the broth with a little sugar and salt. Finely chop the spring onion and add the broth. Add the wonton and now the soup is ready in 4 minutes. Pour into a large soup bowl and enjoy. Good luck.
